Melody Pond's Progression Thread

Update

I fed Melody three days ago, and I believe the mouse may have been a bit too big. I haven't seen her in blue, but I really think she might shed. Her skin around her nose is kind of... wrinkly and dull.

I haven't noticed before, but her markings on her mouth and under her cheeks look like the teeth marks on a skull. I'm also seeing a bit of yellow on her side's!

Right now, she's in my Kindle stand up case as I type. She's so comfortable around people and just sits there like a ball python.

I'll post some pictures soon.
 
Blue

I just noticed that Melody is going into blue. Her eyes are a bit cloudy and her belly checkers are a really light gray. The pink on her cheeks have disappeared.

I was insanely excited, so no new pics. I'll get some soon, though.

Did I mention that it takes Melody forever to shed? She missed two meals! I was starting to get worried that she shed under the aspen or something, but on her fourth day of clear, she FINALLY shed. She's probably hungry. but she has to wait until tonight.
 
Wow, that's crazy! Avatre shed in 5 days, start to finish, didn't even miss one meal, lol. I hope she continues that pattern, lol.
 
Here's one of the picture I didn't post for the Christmas thread, because it is obviously blurry. It was bad because she was starting to burrow in the depths of the tree and it's hard to get her out. She's like "Nooooooo let me play I love trees!" I still think it's kinda cute.

Strike!

Well, I decided to play with the mouse when I fed her on Sunday,and she did.
It scared me a little bit because it was so quick! I know she can't hurt me,but I still jumped. I was proud of her.

Lately, I've been feeding her in my hand, and she's very comfortable with it. :)
