Yeah, she must think she's a ball python. Thanks for all of the compliments, and I must say I agree. She's adorable.

I cleaned the viv yesterday and added an egg carton hide. Melody loves it. She likes the more closed hides instead of paper towel rolls and stuff.

Update

I got a new camera and I was trying it out on Melody, and I got some shots that look cool to me. It must be the focus or something, but it has some weird feel to them.

Sorry, forgot to mention: The second picture looks normal, but 1 and 3 look rather odd to me. I think it's just the textures below Mel.

And by the way, the third shot is of Melody eating, if anyone was wondering.

I fed Melody 1 1/2 pinkies, which seemed perfect. She didn't seem interested in the second half. Cutting the pinky was disgusting. I was surprised the guts didn't spill out on me. :/ It was gross.

Melody shed last night and the light in my room was cooperating so I thought I'd take a few pictures.

Helpful hint: cut the pinky while it is frozen. Much easier. Still gross, but not...gooey...

Outside

It's slightly over 70 degrees here so I thought to take Melody out for some pictures. This was her first time outside, by the way. It's very windy, and the occasional gust of wind freaked her out a little bit. I took her back inside after a few pictures.

It's been a bit rainy, so I didn't let her on the trees or on the grass. I held her the whole time.

These are my favorites, especially the second tongue shot. I didn't know my camera was that fast.
