Well I quite like this thread and I reckon I look nothing like I did when I last posted on here so here's some of yours truly.

Here's me (left) and my best friend, Dean. On halloween, we did dress up like Russell Brand and prance around Portsmouth in ladies jeans. It was fantastic.

Ok, I'll play...:)

Here is my "school photo" from last Sept...yup, as a teacher, I get to have my photos taken with the kids and no, I don't buy the package. I actually get it for FREE! Who on earth wants 2 5"x7" of me??? Not me! So, I give them out in holiday cards...it really is worth the laugh. :)

Then, my mom's favorite baby photo of me. Look at that international flavor in my Dutch dress (direct from Bergen op Zoom!)...;)

And, lastly, one of my favorite belly dancing photos...I have fun with that. :)

Ooh, sorry that the belly dance photo is blurry -- it didn't look that way when I resized it in Photoshop...oh, well! :p
 
I can make that happen...:p

The is from one of my favorite, most difficult performances...it was a Pharaonic piece with 4 other ladies. We got lots of "oohs" and "aahs" from the 500+ audience and all of the other dancers that night...:)

And the second is the same photo from before, just hopefully not so blurry...I performed to "Hannah," a lovely classical piece...:)

Needless to say, I'm quite the amateur yet...no way will I ever go professional. It's fo fun, camaraderie & exercise...and the killer costumes don't hurt, either. :)

And this wierd pic taken at a friend's christmas do a couple of years ago. My camera got dropped and was misfiring with it's flash until someone more sober fixed it

I tell ya, you Brits certainly take a LOT of creative license with the language. Here in the states, we don't call that a "sofa".

Believe me, I've had experience falling asleep on both. :grin01:
