My corn snake Ruby kills Adult male mouse.

This thread is just soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo stupid.
If you feed live there is risk period. People who feed live for the thrill and not out of necessity are endangering their pets livlihoods for NO reason. And by some silly chance these people so impressed with watching "that live kill" are usually the same ones without funds for medical attention for their injured snake when it finally happens. F/T is cheper to buy and there is no risk of vet bills incurred from a feeding- now thats cool!! For the OP who was all types of indignent about being called stupid this is why my friend. How smart is it to pay more to feed your snake in the first place, and then risk additional costs when he doesn't kill it fast enough? STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your stupid, I breed my own mice which is cheaper than buying f/t. And for the person that said I was laughing, I was not. Did you hear me laughing? If you did, you need to get your ears checked. And
David, how did I disrespect Starsevol?

Just an FYI, do you remember this post?

The name calling, the hypocrisy and sheer stupidity simply amazes me! This thread has been going on for days and JUST NOW, a post gets reported...and really will be completely ignored by me as the reasoning is one of the LEAST of the "offenses" that I have read this morning. I am SO glad I've ignored this thread until now, but unfortunately, I'll have to continue to monitor it because of the reported post. I would hate to have someone's feelings get bruised and the offender not get punished, but determining which is which is going to be the really hard part.

Yeah! You may want to refrain from making a statement like this in the future.

Especially when a warning has already been given out! -K-

Stay Thirsty My Friend!

PS Danielle wasn't calling you or anyone else that, just the thread. ;)

Wayne, I can't figure out whether that pic, by being a cartoon, is more or less 'just downright wrong'.....

Sigh.....I guess I have some 'wrong' pics on my hard drive, too, hidden in a folder in a folder in a folder in a folder....

Heck, (similar to my 'most beautiful women' thread), maybe I (meaning someone...LOL) should start a thread of "Random Marginally Wrong Pics On My Hard Drive"........ :roflmao:

No, Susan, I'm not really serious. I would not do that to you, or any other mod. Your lives are difficult enough.

Thanks Eric and Beth! I think this thread has gone on long enough and the subject needs to change, before someone gets their arse "fligadenmaginessperd". How much more can we beat this dead horse?

;)

I agree, some people refuse to learn or to do right by their animals or this hobby. They just are incapable.....

Dude I know your young with all types of raging testosterone, but read my friend. I said this thread is soooooo stupid- not dakingofqueens is soooooo stupid. :nyah: Now, as for you breeding your own mice...how many snakes do you have? Heres a little economics for you. You have one snake that I know of and you say you breed your mice-congrats because f/t is still cheaper. $10 for mice breeders, $20 for cage, $10 a month for bedding, another $10 for food per month, and at least $5 for water if their not chewing the bottles up every month. So after your colony is established your still spending $20-$30 a month to feed your one snake. Thats freaking brilliant buddy when you can go to a show and spend $30 for at least 6 months worth of f/t feeders, and not smell mice pee and poo, clean extra cages, and risk your snake getting its eyeball chewed out:poke:
Save for vet bills they are a comein:toiletgra

I thought I sent out a memo : Do Not Mess With Danielle.

She will smack you against the wall, and then perform a cervical dislocation on you like a WWF pro.

Hell..I thought you were into to that???

If not.....move out of the way.

I never said you said I was stupid, I just hate when people assume stuff that is completely false. I give my mice water from the sink to drink, which I don't pay for. I feed the mice food from the house like bread crackers some fruits. It's really not expensive. I only have 2 cages and I breed the mice as I need them I don't have a surplus of mice running around.

I will not beat on anyone- I have some death cold, wrote two papers today, and that time of the month is nearing. I still don't get why anyone would feed live unless they had too- vet bills kill you man. Mice also need a balanced diet to be nutritionally valuable to your snake, but you like your method so be it.

Eric I may rough you up a little since you like it!! Thanks for letting me know LC:)

you can lead a bear to water that flows over the rusted root, but if you cannot make it drink where it defecates in the woods, does it make a sound?

Rodent pro feeds thier animals quality stuff. You feed them crap. It is like feeding you snake a retired breeder mouse that has had more clutches than you can count throughtout its life and is now almost dead any way.

 Yeah... mice have "litters" not "clutches"... Snakes have clutches.

Now I have the excellent picture of a mouse with a nest full of eggs. "They're pipping, they're pipping!"

How you breed snakes and don't know the difference between clutches and litters?

How you breed snakes and don't know the difference between clutches and litters?

well...breeding SNAKES and not mice, it would make sence that as a slip of the keyboard to type 'clutches' when more than likely that would be the more common word used by a breeder of SNAKES and not mice. You know, I didn't really have an opinion on all this untill you say you feed your mice 'with things from the house'. There seems to be a common theme of ignorance with all of your posts. All i hear from your comments about your snake eating live, about your mice eating whatever boils down to: "however i choose to feed my pets is the right way and will be fine, i dont care who says different"

...the only solution for ignorance is better education than that which you have about the subject, only problem being you seem unwilling to listen to the multitude of information being presented to you. Good luck with that.
Your running low and weak on arguements if your picking apart and critisizing other people's posts in regards to using the improper terminology about different creatures' offspring.

I'm not interested in getting flamed or insulting anyone. I tried very hard to word this properly, as the only thing I have an OPINION on is your OPINIONS, and we all know what any opinion is worth.
