Being a guitarist, I also found that playing bass is not like playing guitar with 2 less strings, and decided it should be left to the geniuses, like Jack Bruce!

niiiice, i think it takes a certain kind of person to be a basist . not my forte .
I can manage simple bass lines but thats about it.
I dont know what i like best the snake or the guitars Hmmm.

I had to mention I have a soft spot for Guild's also. My dad passed down to me his 1960 Guild acoustic he bought new. It's great for jamming out all my favortie Hendrix tunes and hooked up to a zoom box and amp it'll go electric.
