My snake is jumping/falling alot.

yeah just checked pet mountain and they're a couple of cents more for what I was buying. and if i have to return it its more of a hassle than just going into a store

Petco will allow returns to the store, that's sometimes why I use them. I've taken 3 things back.

I have some stuff to send back to Pet Mountain so ya, I agree, hassle and it's gonna cost me $5 just to ship it.

Petco had awesome online pricing on the large hides and I do think their aspen is reasonable. That's the mail thing I'll continue to buy online b/c I like the shredded.

oh no i wont buy aspen from petco...i can get the stuff from a farm animal store waaayyy cheaper...but anyway i got the stuff today and the water bowl is actually a different color than the one on the website but whatever, its all good. and the vines look good...just have to rinse them off and bend them in what i want...they're actually longer than i thought they were going to be so i may end up retunring one...don't know yet.

Is your aspen shredded or chips? I don't like the chips but that's just my preference. I know chips are fine but to me the shredded looks more comfy, lol!

aye it would. even the brand name stuff is cheaper. Zoo Med aspen snake bedding 24 quart is at least $5 cheaper than petco at the feed store...pretty good deal.

You get actual Zoo Med? I'm going to do a google search right now! I just filled up all of my new vivs and it took 4 bags. I put it in pretty thick.

yeah...zoo med at the petco store is like $19 but at the feed store its only like $11...but yeah i put about half the 24 quart bag in my 40gal breeder and i think i did too much lol. look into it you can save alot of money from buying substrate from feed stores.

maybe my petco is way over priced? because petmountain was like 5 bucks cheaper on the aspen than petco. and for some other stuff like my uth' it was as much as 25-30 dollars cheaper than at petco. so i cant complain haha. i live in the boonies so for me to online shop makes more sense than putting over 20 bucks in gas to get to petco on top of what id be buying. i went a little overboard with my aspen too, haha, but they really enjoy being able to burrow, so its not hurting anything. if i didnt know better id think all corns lived underground 99% of the time if i went by my yearlings burrowing. i have to sift through the aspen to find her everytime i get her out.

just checked pet mountain and they're $19 with shipping for the 24qt. bag :D i usually buy my supplies why i have to run close to the pet store anyway...yeah its like 20 miles from my house but i'd rather pay the gas money and get it that day from the store than wait a week for them to ship it to me lol.

yeah with shipping its a bit less affordable. but im an hour from the nearest petco, so if i factor in gas, id rather just wait 5 days, and in the end pay less. when i order from there i usually get the free shipping for orders over $49. but after i get a few last things i wont need to order as much, but itll still be cheaper than driving an hour. i just have to remember to order my stuff ahead of time before im out.

I can get it cheap at Petco online if I order $50 worth to get free shipping. I think like $13 a bag. I can't even find a feed store here! I'll probably keep using them.
