on Friday I fed my snake a pinky and right when i put him into the cage he was active the whole night which hes never done before. Im thinking this might mean hes ready for double pinks what do you guys think?
Ohh, that paints a different picture than what I was originally going to respond to. In a typically healthy snake, In my short experience I've found that they go to the place that is most comfortable, regardless of what I "think" they should be doing. But if you've got regurges happening, that's a whole new ballgame. I have a snake with one regurge and I'm doing everything possible to make sure a second one does not happen. Like Becky said, take things sloooow. More slowly than you typically would for a brand new snake. Above all, you're highest priority now is not creating an environment for a third regurge. That is life threatening, and not something to take lightly at all. Best wishes to you.If I'm not mistaken didn't your snake just have a couple regurges? I am pretty sure you were told what to do and how serious regurges are. After a couple of regurges you have to take things slow. Giving 2 pinkies now may mean disaster for your snake.
