big fire in my apartment building last night.
no fire in my apartment but i assume my snakes died from smoke or cold.

Sorry for your loss :( There is nothing you could have done. I think it is safe to assume they aren't able to handle smoke inhalation very well. Even smoking cigarettes around reptiles is very bad for them.

That's so crummy! Sorry.
I've often worried about my fish should the power go out for long periods of time.

So sorry to hear of your loss! But I am glad that you (and hopefully any other people or pets such as cats and dogs) made it out ok.

God,

I hate to read threads like this, I'm so sorry for your loss.
Only another Snake owner could understand the loss.
I'm sure things will go better for you.

Wow, my deep condolences for you if they did not make it. It's a horrible feeling when your pets are ripped from your lives when they are so much more than pets. They're children and our best friend. I am glad you are safe and hope that your transition of starting over goes well!

I'm so sorry. Don't entirely give up though. As long as your apartment wasn't on fire specifically, they might have escaped the smoke. And they might survive the cold as well. As soon as they'll let you in to your apartment, check on them!

My Deepest most heart-felt condolences.

Perhaps there is still hope..as others have eluded too.

ever see the picture of the crane...Attempting to swallow the frog... yet the frog is choking the bejeebers out of the crane.....??

That's the attitude you have to have.... Never quit...Never Give up.

Other than the snakes..... Hoping everyone else made it out.....
