My Snow's Progression

Sorry for the dirty flip flop in the shot, but it was the only thing handy when I saw her stretching out like that. So for being this long and being 17 grams(on empty), and being about 2-3months old; would you say she is on the right track for growth?

I can't tell you that. I haven't been keeping for very long. But I can ask somone who can tell you!

WooHoo!! My lil one has gained 5 grams! I weighed her last week and she was 17 grams, I just weighed her again right now and she came in at 22 grams!! Still not positive on the gender though, just guessing that it's female. But I'll find out on the 27th when she goes in for a wellness exam and sexing. Oh, I also went ahead and upgraded her to a 20 gal long viv!! I turned the 10 gal into a mice tank-hoping it will help with the cost of F/T mice.

I now have cage clips, so no more weights on top. Also added some fake plants today. And the sticker is coming off little by little. It was stubborn and wouldn't peel off, so I'm having to scrap it out a lil at a time.

She likes her cork log :)

Also, have you tried baby oil for the stickers? They come off easier that way.

Thanks!! Seems a lil bland for me, but she loves it. I might get a textured background for the tank later. Itll look awesome and give her more rough surfaces to rub against once it's time to shed.

I haven't even thought about baby oil. I'll have to give that a try! Thanks!!

I don't know. Her eyes never went blue. And it doesn't look like how a snake would normally start to shed. I put post about it in the health section. Whatever the issue, I put in a shed box/humid hide for her/him

WooHoo!! Woke up this morning to find that my lil snow had shed!!!! Yay!! Not much change in color. A lil more pink, ESP in the saddle markings, and maybe a bit of yellow starting to show down the sides of the neck. Pics up later today. S/he also goes to the vet this afternoon. Only problem is that they actually don't have probes to sex snakes. :(

Oh forgot to mention, her shed came off in 3 pieces. Head, body, then body/tail. And then she still had a scale here n there that was still on her. So I lightly misted her with a shed ease spray(she didn't like me trying to rub it in) and then refreshed her she'd box

Yay! Congrats for the first!

By the by.... I hear that snows tend to be hard to tell when they are in the blue. Cant tell you from experience though.

Vet check up went well!! Since they don't do probes to do sexing, I asked their head snake person what they thought and they think she's female!!!! Know what that means?? I have a name for her!! Her name will be Pandora!! Seems very fitting since when I got her there have been questions(morph, gender, etc). Lol!
