My Snow's Progression

I did that. :'( I made the fuzzy's head kinda bump/rub on her side, but she refused to take it head first. She would actually turn away went I kept not letting her eat butt first.

Won't do any harm, they know what they're doing. If she eats that way she can handle it.

I just got worried. She had a bit of a hard time swallowing it it seemed. But once she got it, she was plump n happy to go under her aspen shavings to coil up above the Under tank heating mat

All of my snakes have had the occasional "butt-munch". They don't seem to care, although I can remember watching once and saying "there's no way..."

I was wrong as usual.

Woo!! I came home from running some errands to find Pandora had shed!! And all in one piece!! Also her shed measured in at 21 3/4 inches!!!! My goodness!! Almost 2 feet long and barely 6 months old!! She sure is growing fast! Not much change in her color though.

Being camera shy lol!

I've heard that it isn't an accurate measure. They shed the inside of their scales too.

Yeah. It added a good inch or two to her actual length. But it was neat to see the difference. I've never measured shed skin before.

Ok, I'm a lil worried now. Pandora regurged the fuzzy she ate 3 days ago. Is it cuz I fed her without realizing she was in shed until the next day?? Any help/suggestions will really help! I've never had a snake regurged

It's not that unusual for a shed-related regurge in young corns. Just hold off feeding for 10 days then give a smaller meal

Got a couple good shots of Pandora in the deli cup I bought her in(that I now use to weigh her in).

She's getting big. Had her just shy of 2 months now. Weighs 28 grams with an empty tummy. :)

Wait half a year and get another deli shot! lol. I love it when people get continuing shots. They show the growth so well! Here's one I did of Xia.

She was 14 inches when I got her a year ago, and she's just shy of four feet now!

Those pics are too cute!!!! Can't wait to see how pandora compares in a couple months! She's just growing so fast!

They grow so insanely fast! I got Xia as a little less than a yearling, and her biggest growthspurt happened after 3 months of having her.

Wow. Can't wait for that growth spurt with Pandora. She's roughly 6 months old now. I don't have an exact hatch date since I got her from petsmart. But judging from her arrival date to the store, I think her hatch date was around mid June to early July.

Well, today is the tenth day since Pandora's regurge. I had gotten some benebac from my vet on Friday. So she had a small dose then and a small dose today with her small meal. I will be keeping my eye on her to see how she does with it. I'm sure she'll be fine though.
