Newbie! Question about feeding.

Holy 2 and a half year bump! Hey, Clickbug, above each post is it's date. I've been guilty myself, but this was a really old thread. That snake is grown by now! :)

Thank you all for your advice and support. I'm sure I'll be needing again.

Jynx has officially eaten his first pinkie since I've brought him home. He ate it about 10 mins after I offered it to him. I have a new set-up for him its a 10 gallon long tank I had already. I will get the 20 gallon long when he gets older. I need to save the money right now cuz I'm in the process of buying a house. I close on the 15th :)

I will post two pics. Front view and top view of the tank. Jynx is currently living in the tank and he is investigating it. He is a very sweet snake. When I hold him he just chills on my hand and doesn't try to run. From my understanding the babies usually are high strung so I was very relieved. So I want him to be happy and healthy!
First of all, your tank if AWESOME!! And even though I'm new here, I did some research before i found this site while looking for more info, and I know that you might not even be reading this thread anymore or may already know this, but where your thermometer is is totally wrong. Your snake may like being up high, but it probably won't always be up there. It will probably be on the ground most of the time,so you want to know the temperature of the ground, not of the air. I thought that was where i would put mine too, until I learned otherwise.I hope Jynx lives a long long long time.

According to their user profile, they haven't logged on here since December 2010. I think it's best to let this thread go back where it came from :)

Zooooombie. Honestly, when I read through thia tread I thought a lot of people were coming off as rather abrasive.
