being the pic aren't that clear you cant see the real color Now I dont know what I have could be amber / lavenders , hypo lavenders , or either or both of these with these in the mix two hypo genes and or charcoal. All I know is they are hypo lavender and maybe somthing else . have to wait till sunday . At least I have hypo lavender bloods and maybe somthing else in them too. my amber motley who know what he will produce for me I'm so so glad I did not sell my adults so I have them to breed next year

At least I'm honest about things they kinda look like hypo/lavenders and they kinda dont. have to wait till they get more size on them
 
My two cents, for what its worth:
There are an awful lot of posts on here that are unessecary, rude, and annoying. I'm not sticking up for Vinman, I'm just saying maybe a lot of the people here who are continually posting these ranting little snippets can go find something better to do. Really. Grow up. Vinmans behaviour does not excuse those who continually posts insults. Please stop.

With that said, what the heck is wrong with a breeder wanting to breed for color? Not everyone one has to be a geneticslly obsessed to sell pet snakes. (Oh, boy I am going to get slammed for this - I can see it coming.) When I breed one day, I will be very scrupulous about recording everything, working with genetics, and labeling, etc. I personnaly find it fascinating, but that doesn't mean eveyone has to take that avenue. If Vinman can produce these corns in the future to look peachy, regadless of if they are something exciting and new, or plain old fancy colored ghosts, then he will have a market for them, and some people will appreciate having a pretty colored corn snake. To each there own.
And now with THAT said, I do hope good records of all of this are being kept, and it appears there are. I look forward to seeing breeding trials, results, progressions, and such.

I notice your "join date" was earlier in the year; have you spent the time to research any of Vinman's prior posts and threads before you posted to this thread?

Agreed, one need not be. And one need not be obsessed with the Zone System to produce a museum quality black-and-white photograph, neither does a painter need to be obsessed with color theory to produce a work of art, and nor does a writer need to be obsessed with Strunk and White's "The Elements of Style" to produce copy, nor an electrical engineer with Ohm's Law.

But it sure as hell helps, and improves one's odds, as it were. Any "creative" - be they snake breeder, web designer, photographer, writer, or ballerina - tries to put themselves at an advantage by knowing the techniques and technologies of their craft.

  1. Do you understand the reference of diamondlil's "That's a nice labrador" (the statement she posted to which I replied) ????? Your response to my response couldn't be from this solar system if that were the case - the Pluto of posts, as it were. Here, clicking on this link will give you a clue.
  2. Saying that "they kinda look like hypo lavenders and they kinda don't" has you covered pretty well, but provides no relevant information. It's like drawing the conclusion that today is either Thursday....or not.

See, I knew I would get slammed, and yes I'm familiar with some of his other posts. I even told him to "shut up" under the Croc Hunter Memorial thread for being insensitive and rude. I said I wasn't defending him. I didn't think I was ranting, I'm just sick of reading constant insults in a thread. It clouds the more important issues that I would actually like to read. Its very taxing to read through and pointless besides. Like I said, just my two cents.

As of 2003 my personal life was in shambles. Was going through some medical issues from the year before and got into a very abusive realationship .My mind was tossed ,fried and hung to dry. I did not know which way was up or down. All my friends noticed a diffrenice in me. I was just getting back to the old me no more than 2 months when I met Eva who destroyed my head and I was back in the crap hole.Things were going great for the first month or so. After that it was like everyday or so we would be fighting she would riped down my selfesteem . The problem was she was not happy with her own life and put me down to bulid her ego up .This is the time that I got my first computer and starting comming on the fourms and I guess it came out in my posting. After putting 2 and 2 together last august I dumped her in september of last year. I realised she was doing hard drugs and the realtionship was getting worse and worse. My head is clear again and I'm back to the old me. stoped smoking pot ( 9/17 will be 6 months )To make sure I was thinking with a clear head and needed to do it so I can sort things out before I start partying agin. Now I'm happy again my health issue behind me finaly recovered from the 2 year bad realtionship so 3 years of hell down the drain. So appoligise to all of you that to bare with me last year.

Now I got slamed on this post and where did any of you see my get pissed not once did I get mad.When I did not like something any of you said I stated it and went on . Never throw a hissy fit . Now I'm not saying every thing I do is all rosey. But belive me you I have not got nasty. I live in the bronx hang with a ruff crowd. at 5'2" and 115 lbs I'm a force to be reconed with. So when I post It might seem rude to you but it aint . I try my best to word my posts a nicely as I can . Let me tell you this I see a lot of posts on this fourm a lot of you are totaly rude and I not talking about this post I surff the fourm.Most of you would not say to a persons face what you post to them on this board. Most you sit behind the computer in the safety of your home and act like a tough guy. Some of you just come the fourm to start trouble and thats a fact. Most of you not all but most dont have the balls to back up the way you act on this fourm in real life. Stop playing tough guy behind the computer . I talked to some big breeders that dont come on these fourms for this reason. You are chaseing away people with some long time exp. in reptiles. This fourm is known for being one of the worst in the hobby when it comes to trouble makers. I wish things would get better. WE all can make this a better place. I think stricter rules need to be put in place aginst this sort of behaveor. Rich Z started this fourm to discuss corn snakes, even if things get heated as they do personal attacks have to stop on the forum. I'm a talking about all of us me, you everybody. If you want to something that nasty and personaly attack them ,send them a personal message, not on the forum.

I do go on other reptile fourms .

And I been to hilton head island and it not a rough place
