Ok. Vinman. Let's get back on topic? Perhaps you were a little hostile to some suggestions about the genetics of your snakes. This ticked some people off.
Nonetheless your snakes are very nice to see, I genuinely did like the pictures and hope you can get some better ones soon. I believe this will happen if you take them to the show and get them photographed there? I look forward to seeing those pictures and more as your snakes mature.
 
I've yet to see some present an idea (along with evidence and logic to support it) and then get personally attacked for presenting the idea.

What doesn't fly on this forum is when someone says, "X is true because I have ____ years of experience and I said so." You've mentioned that you know all of these people who have tons of experience, and you have also mentioned that these are people who cannot be told they are wrong.

I could understand why they are afraid to present an idea and have it stand on its own merits, if their only reasoning is "because I said so." The problem is if anyone refutes or disagrees, it is always taken as a personal attack, because that is the only "support" their ideas have.

As far as I'm concerned, there is nothing of value to learn from anyone who thinks they dictate undebatable ideas, and/or that whenever they say something, everyone should just ooh and ahh and accept everything they say and never question it.

As far as I know, most of the big ones are here. :shrugs: Rich Z., Don S., Kathy L., Joe P., Chuck P., Connie H. Which ones have been vocal about this being such a bad place? Once again Vinster, you make vague references about things and can't/don't/won't back them up with evidence/information/data. :shrugs: Whatever.

I still do not see how all the crap that happened to you is an excuse for being as arrogant around here as you cannot deny you have been. I do feel sorry for people being emotionally abused cause I have been there for a couple of years too. But I do not seem to have as many people disliking me around here as you do. It is way easy to get an average or even very good reputation around here if you are just NICE and open minded. This goes for senior herpo's as well as for novices like me. None of the really experienced people around here act like they know it all or keep on telling how experienced they are and that all less experienced just have to shut up and listen to them. No, you did not use any abusive language, which is positive, but somehow most people around here seem to be fed up with you... so, that is our fault? Most of us did try to talk about stuff in a decent way first and to kindly point out that your way of posting does not give a good reputation, but since you do not seem to get it, you got more laughed about over and over again... that is what happens with anyone in any community who does simply not seem to get how to fit in...

And what does your size and weight have to do with your attitude or how whe should think about you? You cannot do anything with that on a forum anyway... I am not sure about how much 115 lbs is, but I might be heavier then you too.... so what? You allso told us your IQ is 115... so what? Mine is higher, should you have to listen to me now in your world? How is your EQ? Ever heared of it? That might be of most importance when talking to people, be it virtual or in real life....
 
I try my best to get some pic's. I'm not up on all the tex messages and syombls the people post up and sometines it cam get missinterped as a attack. I will do my best to keep the peace ,friends
 
Chuck you make a vlid point I'm not talking about that what I was talking about is they keep away or post very little because the people that just come on the fourm to start trouble . As soon as a debate starts to get hot out come the nasty comments. Look you and me had many battles some right out nasty . yet we put it all behind us and discuss thigs with no problem. I quite injoy talking to you same goes for Joejr . In all right you have to see a big change in the way I post now and back then. I explained it all in that post that I wrote and appoligesed for it
 
Sorry Vinman, but that doesn't cut it. The posts you replied to with the most anger and unreasonable retorts were not full of text-speak or symbols. They were people asking quite sensible questions about the genetics of your snakes, and suggesting how that colour might have been produced. I'm not trying to make you angry, or poke fun at you, but your personal problems have nothing to do with how you produced your snakes or what name you should call them. :shrugs:

I did not mind the questions about my snakes genetics that was not the problem if I did I would have said things like you dont know what you are talking about , dont tell my what is going on . I did not post any of these coments about the genetics of the snakes

the personal problems were not this year that is long behind me
