The overwhelming concensus of this thread is to go with bottled (spring) water, because you don't know what harmful chemicals are in your tap water.
 
i think that tap waters just about ok for adult snakes, water from the hot taps best though as theres less chlorine in it, myself i just get cheap bottled water.
 
well, i just give my snake tap water, but i leave it in a bottle for at least 48 hours before use, so it can "dechlorinate." i was told if you leave the water out, the chlorene will evaporate? is this okay for my snake?
 
I've used tap water straight from the tap since Day 1 and my 20 year old and 16 year olds don't seem to be having a problem.

I'd say if your local tap water is deemed fit for human consumption without further processing (like boiling), then it should be fine for your Corn.
