Shivers' (the emaciated one) Progression

Well, the rate at which he has been gaining weight has definitely slowed. He weighed in at 400 grams tonight. I'd love to post a new picture, but it is too cold to take him outside to where I have been taking them! So, one of these days I will try getting pictures of him in the sunroom.

He only looks a little bit emaciated now!

LOL I can barely tell now!!! If he didn't weigh less by almost a hundred grams than my girls, I'd think about cutting his food down. I guess once he hits 500.. which won't be long... I'm going to start feeding him every other week like the rest of the boys.

So I was lookin through Ian's and clicked on the Alabama locality and they look a lot like him, does any one else agree? I'm just curious as to what type of locale, if any, he is.

He is doing great. I have started to feed him every other week now, since I don't want him to get fat (even though he still has a rounded triangle shape to him now). He is still gaining weight, he's at 508 grams today. :)

He also has decided that his favorite thing to do is spill his water.

The water spilling could be a male spring fever thing. Milky gets so bad that I have to put his water bowl in a 9" deli, with two holes cut in the lid- one over the water and one over the dry area in case he gets in there and gets stuck. I was cleaning out a huge amounf of drenched aspen every day, before I figured that out.

haha it could definitely be the spring fever. He keeps trying to push the divider out of his way (which is impossible) to get to Vegas. Right now I took all the substrate out. He had paper towels for a while, but every morning it was completely flooded. I'll try the deli cup idea.. or rather a tuppaware. Right now I gave him a pillowcase to play in, away from the water bowl and he is happily exploring it.

Milky has a big heavy dog bowl, so he can't tip it, but he was still able to strew it everywhere.

All mine have crock bowls, but so far he is the only one who is playing "flood the cage". lol.

Great progress! He's a lucky snake to find someone willing and able to give him the life he deserves.

Well, musta done something right, the corns in the store at least looked more acceptable than some of the stuff in the store... looks good! You need to get that big huge male from Nate now ;)
