You know, last night I could kind of see where Duane was coming from, but I decided to jump into the chat and see what was going on and ya know... You just have to participate, too.

You can't come into the chat room and expect everyone to make a conversation with you just because you think you're important. I always get a hello when I come in and there's a crowd, but if there's just a couple people, sometimes they're busy and not paying attention. That's the way it goes...

Duane you came into the chat last night, people DID say hello and you snapped at them. You hardly said anything from that time on. I think that's where your problem is... :shrugs:
 
When I first started going into the chat room, noone would really say anything to me unless I said something. Now after going in there often and getting to know people, everyone says hi when they see me come in.. You are right, you just have to participate. I don't really talk to people in the chat room much that I do not know , unless they talk to me first.

I'm always surprised at people who make solid friends here. Most my best friends I met on the internet, but didn't really chat or get to know them at all until we hung out IRL. I'm not good at being internet-friendly.

Also, when you guys talk about ball python genetics? Totally snobby. Whhhhhy can't you talk about my interests or topics I can participate in? I suggest the only topics allowed to be happening when I'm in chat is comic books, and how awesome my snakes are. That would DEFINITELY clear up any and all instances where I felt snoobed.

(see? I'm totally not the "nice" Mindy, lol)
 
I forgot about the other Mindy! There is another one of me running around out there isn't there. Or did she float away into oblivion?

I was on last night and didnt even notice him but then again, I got pulled away and thats how it goes.


I dont talk to everyone who comes on, if they dont try to talk to us, i seriously dont go out of my way to say hi or go into their conversations. There has been times where I just looked at the conversation and feel like not joining in.
But then again, if you think me not going out of my way to entertain you is snobbish, lets then hear me talk Wine, Whiskey or fine cheese, then I will really be a snob.

I don't know anything about them either, that's why is soooo snobby for people to even think of having that discussion when I'm around.

Also, I want to be known as "mean Mindy" from now on, I kind of like that, haha.

And I'm only half way to oblivion. I blame the transit system here, it's slow.
