Personally, I would have to disagree. I actually don't think there's one morph that can be pinned down as predictable. Even stripes have a long list of interesting variations. From fully striped animals to completely vanished patterns. On top of all of the morphs being bred with stripe, it just seems that the possibilities are still extraordinary (same with motley and diffused).Of all of the pattern genes we have discovered, Tesseras are the best by far. No two are exactly alike, which you can not say about Striped and Motley or evey Diffused.
I like the tessera's, but I can definitely see why the price has dropped. Like Dave said, they're the quickest morph to duplicate, so it was really only a matter of (short) time before they were more common, and thus more affordable. And even then, with the (still) high prices being asked on them, I imagine even people who spent upwards of $1,000 on them are still making a profit from each clutch.
So four years of Mitt Romney is going to bring us a booming Corn Snake trade?.... I'm seriously having my doubts about that. But I'm not going to debate politics here. Please vote Republican and save us from being driven off a cliff by our wonderful President. If you think the economy is bad now, it can get much, much worse.
But I think sometimes we forget the things we DO have. Some people across the world can hardly save up enough money to give their child bread and water everyday, and we act like we have a failed democracy that's pushing us towards having nothing at all, simply because Corn Snake morphs aren't selling at a premium price.
