I ran a search, and there isn't already a thread for this - shocking! I can't imagine I'm the only person on the forum who ends up at a fancy dress party at least once a year, so I won't be the only one who gets stuck for ideas each time!

Let's see your best (and worst) fancy dress outfits, doesn't matter if they aren't recent, or even good outfits, just post! It'll give everyone else ideas for their next party.

I have a few pics I could share but I'll wait and see if anyone else is game before I start :sidestep:

We don't seem to have those over here. The last time I wore a fancy dress was probably the day I got married and before that was probably my senior prom.

I didn't even wear a "fancy dress" to my wedding...
Jeans and T-Shirt did me and my husband just fine...

Last time I was in a "fancy dress" was prom...6-7 years ago?
I'll see if I can find a picture or two...

I did indeed!

Over in the UK, people hold fancy dress parties for no reason at all, and anything goes!

I've always wanted to go to one as a bumble bee, but I'm probably too old for that now.. :(

Actually it could be even more amusing if the US members were posting pictures in their beautiful ball gowns and then came along a guy from the UK dressed as a nun! :grin01:

Should I break out the ball gown? Oh crap... I don't have those pics... those are being saved by a friend of mine as future blackmail. LOL.
