Well you know what they say: "You can pick your friends, but you can't pick family." Glad you didn't decide to wait for them to come around. Life is way too short to live it without being happy. So you should enjoy that happiness to the fullest. They will come around eventually when they figure out that it is being with each other that brings you that happiness.

Been through this with my family a bunch.

Ohhhh. I see. You "met" in cyberspace a week after I left for a year of no internet connectivity. That explains it. I didn't think I would have been so unobservant.
 
I have a small one right at the corner of my eye. Sometimes people say I have something in my eye. Its annoying but *shrug*
