I think it's a good idea to keep in mind what would happen to tattoos, depending on where they are placed & whether the person gains/loses weight.
Many tattoos age just fine.
I chose locations for my tattoos that are much less likely to change. Inside of my wrist, on my back between my shoulder blades, & on the inside of my ankle. I have more planned, for example one on the back of my neck.

To each their own. I feel that tattoo is merely body art & I love it!

I have a lot of tattoos and some are huge, they are for my enjoyment alone. I'll be too stoked that make it to 80 that I could care less what they do as I age. Each one is a story that I will carry with me forever.

So what if people think they look funky when I'm old? I'll be the most metal granny in the home.

There goes my chance at the Miss Nursing Home 2055 title.
