Well, Girlie, we all have to go to work at different times. I do in about 15 minutes. So people-on-line is broken-up during midday. A few of us can and do log on from work if we get the chance.
But, it sounds like everyone, including you (and including PayPal), has done everything we can do, at this point, to smooth over the problem for today.

I don't know if the timeliness of the paypal check will avoid the immediate stated problem, but you can still use the money to justify our gesture.

lol thanks...Im surprised too. They did send me a text saying I needed to pay to avoid service disconnect. It may go off tonight but that will force me to organize the house or rearrange the furniture ;-)
 
I sent a little help via PP to [email protected]. I'm with Kathy -- I am paying forward the help others gave me in the past, and I am confident that YBH will pay it forward to someone else someday when she can.

OF COURSE I will!!! I love helping others when I can. I do a lot (what I can afford anyway) to the homeless. Last year I won 500.00 on a slot machine and gave 100 to the homeless guy down the street and bought him McDonalds. And no, I don't care if he bought booze. If I was homeless I would try to get drunk OFTEN ;-)

Wstphal, I think of it like that, and I also think of it in another way. I've been treated poorly by some in the past,...really really poorly by a few.
And I lend a hand when I can, to step over the bitterness and cruelty of some less kind than I.
Overcoming the seduction of bitterness and cynicism is not always an easy thing.
 
It's more fun to give than it is to receive! Unless the gift is snakes. I got a most wonderful snake gift this year. But come to think of it, I have given away a couple and financed a couple, too. So it all evens out!!
 
Don't know if we're still taking donations as there was some talk about Friday being the date, but put me down for $5. I'm a poor college kid, but I can help out a little. PM me with the info on where to send it.

Also did you know S.A. has the most pan handling / sign holding I had ever seen? I swear that is why I was broke the 1st year I was there! lol!

Well, I was in labor...(not drinking lol) and said "F*ck it Im gonna eat eggs" Those breakfast burritos I ate that day was better than my husband on a friday night ;-)
