What Pele likes...how about yours?

I always wonder which one of them has more of a "typical" corn snake personality. Obviously the only solution is to get more snakes and compare. :grin01:

Yeah, you totally need to get more! That way you have a representative of all of the possible corn snake personalities: super angry, escape artist, friendly, and so on. Ooh, or maybe you could test to see whether or not certain morphs tend to have a certain type of personality.

My little guys are all super different.

Gibbs, my fav, is an '09 Amel. He loves me and everything I do. He always pokes out his head to see what I'm doing. Never shy, never scarred just a perfect little gentleman. He's just all curious bright eyes about everything.

Abby and '09 Ultramel is scarred of everything. She ducks and hides at any and all movement. She fine once you get her out to handle her but getting her out is the tough part.

Ziva is an '06 normal and a real sweetheart like Gibbs. She love to coil up in the pocket of my hoodie. She's also a lap snake and enjoys her TV time.

Our new snake has her days and nights confused !!! For a nocturnal creature she has some issues ! Our corn snake likes to wrap himself around the bun i wear my hair in thats great for first impressions when i answer the door!

Tatzu will wake up at 6am every day climb her fake plant all the way to the top and stay there almost all day he only comes down to drink water. After 5pm she'll wander around his tank at 9 pm she goes to her hot side and stays in his cave. He's being doing that for more than a moth does your snakes have a routine?

is your snake a he or a she? or both, if its both i was unaware that this option was available in cornsnakes and would have ordered that when i got my first

That would be pretty cute , would be awesome if you could get some pics to bad you didn't take any then. I have 2 corns "Fox" our snow loves to wrap around my ponytail and cruise around the house with me while i clean feed real children an what not. What makes this so funny though is that he gets so comfy up there i forget i'm "wearing" him I have answered the front door for many a strangers with Fox sitting right on top my head and once i ran to 7-11 and got in the store before i realized he was still up there. Persephone our latest addition is rather ill so we haven't handled her at all but for some reason i think she is the snake version of an insomniac the only time she comes out of her hide is during the day as soon as the sun goes down she runs off to hide. Can snakes suffer from insomnia ? LOL I really think its because its quieter in my house during the day once the sun goes down the real kids get loud and restless.

The comment about Fox is funny. I've got one who like to be an Egytpian head-dress, too. :)

If your Persephone is ill, you may be right about her running off to hide when there's noise in the house. Most corns are more active from dusk to dawn, but since Persephone's not well she's probably stressed by the active household. She could also still be getting used to the household. A month isn't really very long to a snake.

Putting up with us humans is part of the trade-off involved in being a pet and getting good temps, fresh water, and food without competition.

I take it you're an NCIS fan? :p
