How does that explain how someone can be seen as viewing the thread at the same time their showing as being suspended?

However, I also think that you can view threads when you're banned or suspended, you just can't comment on them.

At this time my friends, before we sing today’s Hymn, I would like to consider the words of Sister Lori. It brings joy to my heart to see how quickly she has come to the aid of one of our members who was confused. Yes confused I say, lost in the darkness of despair. And behold, her panties were twisted. Imagine if you will brothers and sisters, the hopelessness you would feel to be confused while suffering the pain of twisted panties.
There is a lesson to be learned here brothers and sisters. Sister Lori has given of herself and all the while she is helping others she sings praises to our Moderators. Glory Hallelujah. And poor Dean, unable to stand up to passive-aggression and classless antagonism. Poor Dean. Pray that he may one day stand and yes even walk.

Considering how much flack the moderators take, I think they each deserve a vacation. I don't know they even have a benefits package. They don't get paid. I'd have tossed my computer out the window by now if I was in any one of their places.
For some non-mods, it seems their comfort zone is staying focused outwards, naggy whinny and always expecting others to change to accommodate themselves. Not being a psychologist, I'm not certain if that behavior is codependant. Perhaps if we focus on improving ourselves, rather than expecting everyone else to change to accommodate our selfs, we'd be more forgiving. Except for me of course. I'm infallible.
Sometimes it seems like a random experiment in which a member from every known religeon and/or belief system has been inserted here, and each was given a cornsnake, so they'd all have something in common. And somewhere someone is watching it, munching the popcorn, I bet it so beats anything on cable. Corn Island. Who'll get voted off it in this week's episode?
Unfortunately, it's not just a movie.
It's real people, not paid actors.
Life: It's nothing like the brochure.

Hence, the sign off signature. One person in particular wasn't going to be happy until the mods were punished over the fact that their delicate sensibilites were offended. When one mod didn't suspend the other, and vice versa, it was because they're in a "fraternity."
And that offends me to no end because I CAN relate to what the mods go through, and the incessant whining can and does become infuriating. So even though one does acquiesce to the demand and go on a suspension, it's still not enough. "Oh no...why can he view the forum? I thought he was suspended....how can he see this???" Well duh, I can see it if I'm not even logged in. Can it get more petty?

Oh, I'm sorry.....so the "lynching" comment offended YOU, and you have the right to cry "poor poor pitiful me" but YOUR "fraternity" posts and your need for justice to be served according to YOUR set of rules is fine, and no one should be able to speak out against that? Is that what you're saying, because I'd hate to misunderstand. Why were YOU the only one that was involved, and when did it become all about Snakemom? Please, "enlighten me."
Also, where did a moderator offend you directly and speak unfairly against you?
Lastly, I don't get involved so my friends will pat me on the back, but I am one to go to the mat for my friends when I feel they're being attacked unfairly. Recently, one of my best friends here was attacked by a petty child who felt the need to try to ruin his reputation in chat and on this forum as well as fauna. Did I stand up for him? You bet. Another time a well known member was attacking another well known breeder and accusing her of trying to undermine the owner of this forum. I didn't know her then, but it was pretty clear that he wasn't going to back off from his need to beat her into the ground unfairly until she apologized to him over something that had nothing to do with him.
So yeah, I get involved in petty attacks against my friends. I'm sure I lose more "would be" friends in the process, but I think I can live with that.

Seriously people - it is an ONLINE FORUM. If you don't like what you are reading, if it offends you and your "sensibilities", then you always have the choice to push the "ignore" button, not read the thread, or heck - not even stay on the forum. No one is forcing anyone to read anything or to stay here if they don't like it.
Todays world is much too PC for me to begin with, but seeing so many people here "whining" about being offended over some of this stuff is just absurd. GROW UP and GET OVER IT. Even though I usually don't cross any lines, I really hate having to watch what I say about my own opinions just to please a few people who get their knickers in a twist over this stuff.
