Has he EVER eaten a live fuzzy before? Did you breed him or did you buy him from a breeder? The reason I ask is because most big breeders buy their feeders in bulk frozen lots, and hatchlings are trained to eat frozen pinkies. Chances are that he may not have ever seen a live fuzzy before, and thats why he won't eat. If you want your snake to eat, I'd switch to frozen. Almost any store that carries live feeders will carry frozen feeders as well. I can understand why you would think it would be more convenient to feed live, but its really not if you think about it. Live feeders need to be fed, taken care of, they SMELL, and can do SERIOUS damage to a snake, as CAV said earlier. Depending on how they are frozen, a temperature cold enough will kill bacteria and some parasites and can help prevent the spread of some bacteria to a certain extent. Its alot easier to have 50 mice in the freezer than to have 50 live ones.
