YAY first lock up is my micro scale :)

Congrats on these pips!! I didn't read through the whole thread, but these pippies are (hopefully) het micro scale, right? So these will be kept for further breedings? :)

Yes, they are het micro scale according to the recessive gene genetics. So far I am pretty sure it is recessive. I have a clutch from the micro x his mom in the incubator which will hopefully confirm that. Unfortunately there are only five eggs in it, so if Murphy decides to NOT make my day, there won't be any micro's in it. But both clutches of the parents of my micro male were small yet gave me 50% micro's so I'm hopefull this line likes to live up to statistics, hehe :)

ARGHHH the male : female ratio in the micro x snow het motley clutch is 14 : 3 :headbang: The normal : ratio is 6 : 11 with 9 amels being male!

I have also popped three out of fout of the other micro clutch, those are two males and one female, the fourth has not shed yet.

I hope some people are willing to buy lone amel males het micro anery to take a chance by out breeding him and putting him with some of the daughters....
