Thanks Deb, I don't think she will ever look like a regular lavender motley, but she will still be totally gorgeous no matter what.
 
I know me too... I have a friend who has a known dilute anery motley male and we may arrange something in the future.

If you do this, make sure that the Dilute Anery Mot is not het Hypo. That would eliminate any possible question (in your own mind &/or that of others) as to whether that could be in effect rather than Dilute.
Hypos & Dilutes should be distinguishable, from one another, (although some could be missed, due to variability, I am sure) but, for someone that does not have experience, with Dilutes, it will/could be harder to tell.
However, my comment was, mostly, just for a more sound breeding test.
 
I totally agree Deb, however from what Joe was saying, the sunset line is a new different form of hypo not compatable with hypo A. So if he is het hypo A it won't matter.

I would expect all normal motleys het sunset dilute anery lavender. Thats not a bad pairing eh...

Yes, from what Joe has said, it seems that there could be another form of Hypo at work with the "Sunset Lavs". However, they were mixed with Hypo A (here or there) and, since we do not know your beautiful girl's total history, ... it is always possible that she could be, at the least end, het Hypo A.

If you ever breed her, I would be very interested in seeing what she produces.

If paired with the Dilute Anery Mot .... I agree, there would be some nice hets in the babies they produce.:)
 
Does she count as Sunset HURRICANE lavender motley now?! I hope not cause thats a mouthful LOL

Really? I wish she was all peachy and orange like before, but I am LOVING the hurricane borders and mauve tipped peach scales. Shes constantly changing. I love it...

I'm sorry to say it but I thing you will have to get used to that mouthful when some asks what she is. :D
 
Looks like Joe certainly knows his stuff! I can't wait to see post shed pictures of her though, I'm sure she will look a lot nicer. ;)
