Strange lavender motley progresssion.

Here is Dior a few days ago freshly shed at the window in natural light. You can clearly see all that yellow on her neck...

And here is an interesting comparison between her and my hypo lavender. I wish Hal had her rich peachy orange colouration.

Dior has hit 70 grams this month :)

Well I am impressed, and I love her look :) I'm not a huge fan of peachy lavs that are only peachy in the top third of the body. Heck I'm not that impressed with my hypo lav. I love the slatey, dull, teel look to these lavs.

I can't see Dior going that dark and uniform though, shes extremely colourful already. Why is it that although shes female shes so colourful? Have you any more pictures of the sunset lavs? Did you know you were producing sunset lav mots? Are they difficult to tell apart from non sunsets when they hatch? Sorry for the billion questions lol. I really appreciate your input :)
I have some now to take comparison photos of. I will answer your questions when I post the photos.

I have produced the "Sunsets", in Lav, Lav Motley, Striped Lav and Lav Cubed. They are very nice, but each and everyone of them that I raised up darkened at two years of age.

Anery is not the cause of the Sunsets. I have tested lines clean of Anery and they are still easily produced. It is just a simple recessive gene, that mimics hypo. I am not going through another Hypo test, unless the results are more dramatic. I know it looks that way now, but just wait, the Lav color will come in more in time.

Some combos, such as Anery Lav Sunsets may be a different story however, we just never know until we try.

I'm really happy either way :) Can I ask, how much would you charge for a sunset lav mot? Do you sell them as sunsets or just as lav mots/lav stripes etc because of how they end up?

Looking forward to expanding on this topic more when you post pictures :)

I think Dior is the best lookign I've seen so far... (sorry Vlad). I keep my fingers crossed for you that she does not turn into a more regular looking lavender!

She still reminds me strongly of my dilute anery because of that 'milkyness' ...

Can I call "dibs" right now....just in case you ever decide to get rid of her for some unknown reason? "DIBS!!" I agree with Voodoo.... simply stunning!

Dior weighed in at 93 grams when she shed 3 days ago. I love all that yellow down her sides... (never thought I would say that about a lavender based cultivar)

Thanks so much guys, shes such an unusual colour. I have noticed her scales on the sides are getting tipped with darker lavendery colouration. It looks like "melanin" stripes in the right light. I will try to get a shot of it sometime.
