  • So glad to hear you are coming to visit me. I love surprises. I can't wait to see that play with you. Afterwards we can come out together.
    Hugs...
    Ping, ping!
PS-I added the second ping not to sound urgent but because my message needed to be ten characters long. Such verbosity, sheesh!
I'm good. Busy with school/work/life right now, but nothing really fun happening. But at least there is nothing terrible going down right now. I hope tomorrow is better for you, you deserve better than ok.
I'm a theater junkie. We have season tickets at Lincolnshire and go to Chicago whenever there is something good showing. I used to take the train to New York frequently when I lived in Philly. We've always taken Ben with us to shows and now his girlfriend comes along as well. I remember he was 10 when we took him to see Miss Saigon. The ushers were not going to seat us because of his age (we had front row seats at the Lincolnshire which is theater in the round). We assured them he knew how to behave at a show so they seated us. From that show on he was hooked.
We took Ben and even he was blown away. The actor who played Emile is an opera guy usually (we even met him before the show in the parking lot). The moment he spoke Ben leaned into me and said OMG I love that guy's voice. And then Emile sang and we were all blown away! Not a single weak cast member in the lot. I'd go again in a heartbeat.
I favor a no nonsense approach to holidays. All the trappings are lost on me. Dressed in sweats, with good food in front of me, eaten at the kitchen table on everyday dinnerware, HEAVEN!
We went to see the Broadway cast of South Pacific yesterday. It was amazing! It seems unfair that some people have so much talent while the rest of us can only sit back and gape.
Sales are down from last year, but we'll see. I'm buying more and more cool stuff, and cutting the profit margin. Hopefully it'll all pay off.
What are you talking about? It's there.....now! lol
It starts at 10:00 and is only minutes from No O.
I'll pass on the mutt, thanx. The Cleveland show is on the 20th in case you can make it. I have your aspen, too!
