2009 Yahoo - Pro Football Pickem - Contest - Prizes

MMMM... That was a hard one for me. I picked GB... Hoping that Aaron Rodgers continues to do well and hoping that Jay Cutler will have a BAD first game. If I had to pick this later in the year (and we will), I would have picked GB figuring that Jay had ironed things out.

darn you, Arizona! Darn you!!
Don't worry, I don't think anybody picked San Francisco. I went Arizona, because I pretty much thought it was a guarantee, but for some reason they just didn't bring it today. It was still a fun game to watch, though. It came right down to the wire.

BTW, anybody else think the ball rolled out of bounds after the fumble with :01 still left on the clock?. It would have taken a 65+ yard Hail Mary to win, but still, there should have been 1 second left...

I'm going Green Bay too. I actually like Aaron Rodgers, he's a pretty god QB and he's mobile as well. I also think the Packers WR's are SO much better than the Bears, and that will be the deciding factor IMO. Game starts soon, and good luck everybody!.

sloppy az. too many penalties and warner looked rusty still. hopefully tho my voice will recover for the night game against the colts in two weeks;)

I can't believe they just went for a review. wtf. either way they need a touchdown to win.

intercepted, dear lord, i give up.

Well, unless there is a MIRACLE for "da Bears", it looks like GB wins. Turns out I was right... Cutler had 4 interceptions to seal the deal.

Like I mentioned... later in the season, I just MAY have to choose the Bears. By that time, Cutler should have it all ironed out.

My brother went to the game... He's sick to his stomach. UGHHHHH...
That's so cool!!. I can only imagine the stress, but overall it was a great game for him to go to. It was a tight game from beginning to end, and that last drive from the 49er's was wild. I have to give it up to Mike Singletary though. They did it without their #1 pick (Michael Crabtree), and their defense was just physical; Especially their defensive backs!. Hightower was great for the Cards though, and is a great Running Back for those screen passes. I'm sure Arizona will figure it all out soon enough, and the Jag's should be a good match-up next week.

BTW, kudos on the Packers!. I freaked when Rodgers bombed it for what turned out to be the game winner, and the scramble before that play was nice too. The Packers are no joke this year and they could take the NFC by the end of the season. I just feel bad for all those Bears fans who were expecting Cutler to show up...Maybe next week after he digests what being a Chicago QB means!..
