I just don't trust Miami. They're very talented in certain places, but desolate in others. Their QB situation is going to start slipping, and I'm not sold on Sparano as a head coach. Also, their defense is starting to look ugly...They gave up a lot of yards-per-carry even though Indy mostly passed the ball when they had it. Their DB's look too small and their defensive line is pretty awful as well. I know the score was close, but I don't see Miami playing any better vs. New England, IMO.

Oh, I don't know... as we saw last game and as the announcers of that game said, the Pats are looking pretty suspect on defense. No more of the "old guard" that served them so well (and who I have to take my hat off to - even though I hate their guts... :p ). I know it was a close game with the Jets, but I think a game between the Phins and the Pats will be pretty close.

... UNLESS Brady has a breakout game... and he IS due one after that last loss... LOL.

Is there any way I could be MORE wishy-washy? :poke:
 
Miami has actually played well against the Pats in previous games, and I think they are the team that gives the Pats the most divisional trouble.

I can't believe I'm 25 spots away from Michael. Out of the two of us, I am by far the better NFL expert...He just pretends well!. I was stupid to pick Philly and Cleveland though, and I would have been better off just switching my picks. I was very confident on Oakland, Baltimore, and the Giants which would have been great had I not blown my other picks. Still, I'm glad only 6 wins separates me from the top and I hope to come back much stronger next week to regain some lost ground...

LOL, totally agree!. It started weird with the Patriots/Jets game, and then Jeff Reed had to miss all those Field-Goals for Pittsburgh; what is up with that?. Hopefully next week is kinder, and I'll check the league right now just to see. I may even pick right now just for fun!.
 
I thought I had twenty wins, and now I find out I'm at 19 *sigh*. Well, hopefully my week 3 upsets bring me wins. I have the Tennessee Titans over the New York Jets, and the Indianapolis Colts over the Arizona Cardinals. Why Arizona is the favorite, who knows, but give me the Colts in this one!. Minnesota/San Fransisco was a pretty tough one to call, but in the end I expect the Vikings run game to shred the 49'ers defense for a win...Anyways, best of luck for everyone and I wish you all success!!.
