Yup! No need for ANYONE to be ruled out as a contender. Not only is it possible for the lower ranked players to move up, but it's really not all that hard to do. Just a couple of great weeks can propel even the lowest ranks right up the boards, and a couple bad weeks for the top to crumble down.

I must say though, that Dwyn, Blueapple, and myself are in quite the battle for 1st. The 1st week it was Blueapple and I tied for 1st, the 2nd week I jumped to the #1 spot all by myself, last week it was Blueapple at #1 with Dwyn and I tied for 2nd, and this week it's the three of us tied for 1st... Geez! Thunderer has also been highly consistent, being one of the few to not waver too much, which is scarier than those who may be ahead of him now, because at least so far he has proven that those ahead of him may come and go, but he will not.

This has been a blast, and I can't wait for next week. Best of luck next week everybody, and I hope I can continue my success.
 
so i just read that rush limbaugh is looking at making a bid to buy the rams...

...the rams may overtake the cowboys as my least favorite team :puke01:

I read that too, and I would definitely object to him buying a team. He knows nothing about football and I highly doubt he can manage a team, especially one that needs a total overhaul. If he wants to buy deep-fried donut, I'm good with that, but not an NFL Franchise.

Yeah, but the Williams sisters and J-Lo do? I doubt he's buying the team himself, it's probably a bunch of right wingers going in on it... :grin01:
 
Won't happen. Rush Limbaugh is a fool, and I don't even want to begin to think about what a franchise of his would look like. He has no business as the owner of anything with his offhand racist, neanderthal remarks... and equality would be non existent on a team of his. He's the same idiot who said that McNabb was drafted so high because he was black, that he was overrated, etc... But did he say anything about Tim Couch, the complete draft bust QB who was the 1st overall pick ahead of McNabb (who might I add was white)? NO!

He won't ever be allowed such a position in the NFL, that I can guarantee. The NFL is, and has always been, one of the most progressive forms of main steam entertainment, and Limbaugh has nothing to offer it!
 
Braylon Edwards just got traded to the Jets! That could be dangerous if Sanchez can rebound from last weekend...
 
It'll take him a few weeks to "fit" into the system... then maybe about week 3, he'll begin to have an impact. Possibly week 2...
 
I actually love this move for the Jets. Edwards has certainly been a less than great WR as of late, and the dropped passes are inexcusable... but, I think he really has a chance to resurrect his career in NY with the jets. Cotchery is a very underrated WR as it stands, but with the addition of Edwards I believe he will really make a name for himself.
They didn't have to give up much either, at least by what they've disclosed so far.
