Well, I have to defer to Joe, since he's up top... if they were available, I'd have to go with the Normals with the Hets! Love them all, but that's where I would go.

Have you looked at the OVERALL leaderboard? I think the highest ranked player has a score of 64! In terms of that... we ALL suck! LOL!

That all depends on how you look at it. If you look at the Expert Picks the highest score is 53. The Yahoo users as a whole are at 54. I think 56 is pretty good. :shrugs:

WOW! I've been out of the internet for a week, so I am so glad that an 8-6 week still kept me in 1st. I didn't have a chance to do my usual pre-pick investigating, so I am through the roof happy that I wasn't knocked far down.

Here comes week 6!!! Get your picks finalized and locked in! I know I'm reminding everyone a day early, but we had some folks miss out last time... and it isn't as fun if folks don't get their picks in.
Some hard picks for me this week...
Baltimore @ Minnesota... Baltimore has shown WEAKNESS... and Brett is looking awesome!
NYG @ NO... Looks to be a GREAT game. Could go either way as both teams are scoring machines. I'm leaning towards the Giants, but anyone who chooses AGAINST Drew Brees is just asking for it. LOL.
Tennessee @ NE... Talk about an upset in the making... Tenn is too good of a team to be 0-5 and NE is looking kinda weak... but they also lost last week making them losing this week quite unlikely.
Denver @ San Diego... Denver beat the aforementioned Pats... and, IMO legitimized their 5-0 record. But SD is always tough... esp. against a divisional opponent... WOW... Toss up to me... so I'm going with one of my favs.. Denver.

LOL. You'll be happy to know that I'm going with Minnesota on this one. :laugh: Perhaps Brett's streak will continue??? I hope so. It is great to see a guy who is only 1 year younger than I can still do so well against guys who are sometimes 15-20 years YOUNGER than he is.
Okay, I'll agree that I will NOT pick Baltimore (see above) or SD... but I think I might go with NO and NE. LOL.

I picked Baltimore over NE... Disappointment, but very close. Baltimore over Cincinnati... Also Disappointment, also very close. Now I actually have to consider picking against the ravens, and it makes me sick. I really believe Minnesota has the edge, but Baltimore has a prolific passing game, and the D has much more to offer than it has shown. If Brett makes this a shoot out, then I'll take Baltimore. But Jared Allen has been a beast on D, and that could stunt Flacco's recent success. Not to mention that Baltimore let Cedric Benson run wild last week, and now they have Adrian "All Day" Peterson to try and stop.
As for NE vs Ten... New England WON'T lose! Tennessee is not rearing to upset anybody, Kerry Collins is playing like his age and that defense is terrible. There is no way that they'll stop Brady, and I think Fred Taylor is about to have a great day rushing.
NO vs NYG - I'm taking the Giants. Their D-line is way too much for Brees, not to mention how overrated he is. Seriously, the Saints run game will be 0 factor, and Brees will be forced to pick apart a pretty good secondary, and escape arguably the best line in the NFL. NO is also 0-5 coming off of a bye week, so that whole rest thing means nothing.
The only variable for me is Eli? He'll be playing hurt, and he hasn't been practicing. He's definitely going to play, and he'll only be playing in pain, not against an injury, but it still might be a factor. But who better than Brandon Jacobs to punish an overrated Saints D, and Ahmad Bradshaw to hit the home runs.
