2009 Yahoo - Pro Football Pickem - Contest - Prizes

Oh... Den vs SD - I'm taking Denver. People have severely undervalued their Defensive performances, and their secondary can easily contend with SD's pass game. They also have a solid pass rush with Dumervil, and Brian Dawkins will knock a washed up LT and undersized Sproles straight back to last week. SD also has a very banged up D, and with Clady at left tackle, I see Orton having all day to pass. Marshall is a flat out stud at WR, and he'll show his stuff in this division rivalry. Same with Moreno, who has really emerged as a great rookie RB, he just needs to learn to keep the ball high and tight as not to fumble.

I just hope I didn't jinx it by giving you grief again!! :noevil:

I HOPE not!!! I DID pick them!

WEEK 6 is here! Pick 'em, lock 'em and load 'em!!!!! Don't wait until the last second!!!

I think the game to watch... Giants @ Saints! Undefeated teams -- Which one will FALL?

Baltimore @ Minn and Denver @ SD - close seconds!

I did my picks last night, and I was so tired I don't even know who I picked. Maybe I should go check them over now.

LOL. That's part of the reason for the reminder! :)

I got some picks I don't think I would have made had I been in the right frame of mind. However, I'm afraid to change them because I know doing so will probably sabotage myself.

I have a feeling this will be a bad week for me, but no pain no gain.

ehhh, so I had to go and make a switch. I had Chi over Atl...but I just went and switched to Atl. Now you watch this come back and kick me in the butt.

This is gonna be interesting. There are several games that I have thought about switching. But, I stuck with my first instinct. Let's see how that works out for me.

I did the same last minute switch too, and just under the wire....
I also switched to Balt over Min since they're home, it's cold, and Farve hasn't been in the cold for awhile...
SD over Denver as I hate Denver and think SD can pull off the win at home in a Monday Night game.
NE over the Titans because I'm tired of them screwing me every week, lol... I didn't pick them last week and I was glad I didn't, lets hope they continue their losing streak...

I always say, "OK, I'm not going to switch any at the last minute again", but it worked in my favor last week, sooooooo, see above lol...

I had to pick Minnesota, even though I still hope Baltimore wins. I just couldn't afford to watch the Ravens serve me another loss, and this way it's a win/win. If MIN wins, I get the pickem' W, and if BAL wins, my team gets the W. I just couldn't bare to get the L in the pickem, and have my team lose.

The only close call for me was the NO/NYG game, it took me forever last night analyzing both teams. Let's hope the Giants can figure this ish out soon, because I really think the Saints need a good dose of reality.

That pass interference call against Webster on Colston was totally garbage. What should have been a punt, ended up being a huge break for NO, and the drive resulted in a TD. Maybe the Referees should check the rules, because Webster never even touched Colston, their legs tripped eachother up, which by way of the rule is a no call. It's these type of plays that ruin watching a game for me, because you know that the game can never be deemed as a legitimate win for the team that got the lucky call.

Whatever, the Giants just scored, and hopefully they can get a pass rush going. Brees is overrated, and this poor passing D is making him look WAY better than he is. ARGGHH!

So far, i'm not too terrible. I'm hoping this Chiefs pick pans out for me. It's a tie game with 5 minutes in the 4th. I'm crossing my fingers here! LOL
