2009 Yahoo - Pro Football Pickem - Contest - Prizes

Yeah... I can COMPLETELY see the Cowboys doing that... I'll remember to root for the both of us on Saturday. If NO wins that game... Dallas' chances of making the playoffs will really be fizzled.

Yeah, but even if they do lose, if they can win out, and finish 10-6 could be possible. Would need the giants to lose at least one then. Which they should against the Vikings - though the Vikings may not play their starters since its the last game if they've already clinched all they can. Washington could pull the upset. That would put the giants at 9-7 if they lose at least one.

What would be interesting... IF the Cowboys DID beat NO... what would that say about NE's chances of going far into the playoffs?? Did you see any of their game yesterday? NE is REALLY struggling... I've never seen it like this for NE. Belicheck needs to do SOMETHING (and sending people home for being late for practice because of a SNOWSTORM isn't it). They're falling apart personality wise, etc. BIG clue... Randy Moss "alligator arming" that slant from Brady... whoa...

As far as NE chances of going far, I still wouldn't count them out. Look at Cardinals last year. They were 9-7 and went to the Super Bowl. As the saying goes, "Any given Sunday".

But I think you're right, things are falling apart there. Belicheck was a moron for sending those guys home, especially when one called to say he was in the snow storm and was going to be late. You can't punish a guy for following the rules.

You're right about not counting them out... I should KNOW by now. I just hope that someone can put a DAGGER into them before they can cause trouble. I think, like San Diego, they're a team that NO ONE wants to have to play at the start of the playoffs. For the sake of the Colts... I HATE SD and the Pats... and that's a testament to their ability to be a curse to the Colts.

Bengals WR Chris Henry in serious condition after getting in a car accident. I'm praying that he makes it out of this alive and well!

Sadly, Chris Henry passed away at around 6:30 am (e.s.t.) from the injuries that he received from the accident yesterday.

Just heard about his passing... seems that he fell out of the bed of his pickup while he and his girlfriend were arguing... at least that was what was reported on the news here at about 8:07 am...

Here's an ESPN link...

RIP, Mr. Henry...

R.I.P Chris Henry. So much life left to live, and endless potential on and off the field. Now the world, and he, will never get to see those days... R.I.P!!!

Indy has been having some close calls lately.

The great teams always learn how to win the close ones.

The thing with Indy is when they need the offense to step up, it does. When the offense is struggling the defense seems to be able to turn it up and pull out the game.
