Wow! I am really glad I missed this and got to read it after the misguided, self-righteous, bigoted, liar was shown the door...twice, ha! Some very well written and funny stuff here peeps, thanks for the laughs.
 
Oh drat my being a filthy foreigner and sleeping all through the most entertaining part of this thread in the wrong timezone!

I actually had money on her giving birth to quads before her final exit. Shame really.

Yep agreed, also being a filthy foreigner I too was asleep for the finale.... Though being a filthy foreigner I couldn't post on this thread anyway, it would be unpatriotic or too Christian for me.....
As for quads, that would of been too normal. I had money on an immaculate conception or alien hybrid....

I have to say, I didn't like how she presented herself here at all!. But multiple account use, being argumentative and asking to leave and not infractions for a month ban.
It must be something I missed...again!!

I was all prepared to give her the space to fit in.....
We've all seen members go through a learning curve....
The problem was Emily's curve was near the Clark's orbit...
And seemed to be moving outwards..... LOL

Oh I agree 100%!!

But I just missed the infraction that was ban worthy. I hope she wasn't banned for being in her own orbit. Hell, I thinks we are all in our own orbits sometimes.
 
Lenny, she asked to be deleted. Instead, she was given a short vacation time with the right to change her mind if she chose to do so. It was a very patriotic gesture on Dean's part, really.

I'm happy that she gets a time-out to reflect on how she's presented herself. As I said before, she's doing herself no good at all given that a) she wants to be a journalist and b) her posts here can be traced back to her in "real life" with two or three mouse clicks. It's just been too easy to bait her into expressing ill-considered opinions that might haunt her further down the line.

She did a report post (on one of my posts) where she wrote this:

"Delete my account PA-LEASE. I can break a rule first if you like?"

That was the clincher. I wasn't going to wait around for her to make good on her threat. She's been disruptive enough already. I think it could be argued that she deserves a permanent ban, but I only gave her a month. I believe in second chances, especially when the offender is a kid. I gave her "brother" a 3-week suspension for not securing his account. If she decides to start posting as her "brother," since his account will be unlocked before hers, she WILL be permanently banned.

I hope this explanation is satisfactory...
 
So...her brother, being a very astute young lad, got on her account and immediately grasped the gist of her argument. He grabbed some quotes off of the website that "supported" her argument and was able to argue in the exact manner as his sister was and continue it ?

I love people 'on the same computer' who have discussions online, it reminds me of this!

Wow the things I missed while I was sleeping,lol Oh well I hate religious zealots. If you believe in God thats between you and God IMO, but determining what is right and wrong for the rest of us based on your beliefs is just so christian;)
