Cornsnake Haiku

One haiku for each of my corns:

Mica
Me - Spinning Dervish
Wrap my mouse up so very tight
I don't know it's dead.

Zircon
My sister shows off
I don't waste the energy
Frozen-thawed is nice.

Flint
Warm hued saddles here
Grey and black borders on all
I might be charcoal.

Calcite
I'm so little and
Perfect; coral pink and white
Might be het bloodred.

Shale
The pet shop called me
A Christmas corn, but I look
Like a nice pale ghost.

Cinnabar
Why did I get that
Stupid head marking - it looks
Like twig and berries.

Jasper
Just a normal corn
Red and orange and black; I
Won't ever get girls.
 
I think I have found
The shortest 5 syllable
Around these parts.

It did not take much
To stumble upon said find
While driving and stuff.

Cruising and typing
Really do not mix too well
Don't try this at home.

Bored with the BIG thread
Thought I would bring back something
From a stand-up "great".
