Good grief, you guys are being picky beyond belief.

Butters can range from almost lemon colored to butterscotch. The point of the comparison photos is to show the extreme yellow coloration in the Yellow Amel. I think to automatically assume that an Amel that has high yellow coloration is a Creamcicle is extremely closed minded. I have never owned a Creamcicle and have produce many Amels with similar coloration to the Yellow Amels.

I think considering the difference in languages he is doing extremely well to answer all of your questions. I tried to use a translator to translate some of the info on his site, and they just do not work very well.

I think you're right, it is very easy and a stubborn habit to just assume that the colour yellow comes from either Caramel or Emory genes, i'm guilty to that too..
I really don't know what to think about it being a 'new' gene..
Isn't it possible to be linebred after all?
When a Sunglow corn is bred to a non-amel corn, the normal offspring will be more red tainted then usual, considering some recent experiences overhere..
Within two years, breedings will be done with this offspring to see if the colors stay when bred to other morphs and back to relatives..

Is that the color name for this variety?

Here are the pics sorry it went wrong the first time

Is "amelyellow" the color name for the lighter of the two hatchlings? I have an adult six-footer that color, and have been trying to figure out what color he is. He is much lighter than the "amels" I've seen, but darker than the "butters". He has light orange larger spots with smaller yellow spots between, on a cream background.

Can someone let me know what color he is, assuming my description didn't just confuse the issue?

Yes, I posted a couple on another thread. The consensus there was "creamsicle"
