No..i just look thru the tub..i dont move it or take her out...except the other day to make sure she was drinking....other than that...no...just my daily checks to make sure temps are good... everybody has water..etc...all this can be done from outside the tub....no need to move them if i dont have to.
the only time i've actually been INSIDE the tub..was when offering food...and offering water. She's in a room by herself...no traffic from the house occupants.....I can see her from outside the tub in her hide....thats how i know her belly checks are dull...from her positions...I Haven't taken her out to PLAY since she became gravid. I know she needs rest..I know she's lost weight....It's just me being an overprotective parent...the reason i ask all the questions.
 
Rich, I think you need a web cam in there with her!
Hey... then we can ALL keep an eye on her! Lol!

Isn't it funny that in our culture food cures everything... so we just want them to eat to prove they are ok! (Or my culture, anyhow.)
 
lol, while a web cam is an interesting idea, i can't see anyone wanting to see me in my boxers messing with the snakes

tried to get better pics of the eggs tonight....They have veins..All of them...but they just show up as Blurs with this stupid camera. there is one egg the glows white/clear....but it shows no signs of rotting or dying....still nice and plump...cant see veins in it....but....any chance of this being a viable egg??? i won't ditch it till it obviously dead.

Ok,
so I'm bored right?? just sitting around waiting for eggs to hatch...so I go "Shopping" at the local stores......I end up at a Video rental store of all places.....And one of the workers there had Something in a bag on the counter...She kept looking in the bag...and quickly shutting it.....So ya know..i'm curious...So i mosey up to the counter and say "So....whats in the bag" she leans towards me..and says "Wanna see". I had to laugh....And said "sure"....she quickly opened the bag. ladies and gentlemen....what i seen in that bag has the potential to change the world!!! So excited..i immediatly pull out all the cash in my pocket and asked her "How Much??" She said..."Rent a movie, and i'll give it to ya!" so i grabbed the nearest flick..didn't care what it was....threw it on the counter..."ok..can I have what's in the bag??" i asked. she then handed me the bag. So excited with my find..i couldnt wait to get home and take some pics. before i left I asked her where she got it?? She said it came in with the last shipment....In one of the boxes. Playing dumb...i asked her what she thought I should house this thing in....and she suggested a smallish enclosure...that she JUST HAPPENED TO HAVE!!!! seems odd...right??? Thought that myself. So..following are the pics i took....enjoy.....All you pros out there..lets here from ya!!!

Yeah,
to anwser all the questions: Stubby Is sour apple. Stubby Was Very Chewy. And stubby has clutch mates!! :)
 
Checked on Zena for the first time in what "feels" like a week...still no shed...but when i looked thru the tub...i could see her eyes...they are very much milked over!! YEAH!!!!! Soon we'll get her back on a normal feeding schedule...a few fuzzies at first..then all she can eat till winter!! LOL
 
Would like to add...that a have given her a hide box with some orchid moss that i didnt use during the laying process. Slightly damp. perhaps she will find it to her liking.
 
day 17 in the incubator!! GAWD!!! this is Aweful!!! LOL.....Lots of big veins though...nice plump eggs....temps holding at 82 degrees 90-93% humidity.
 
Yeah,
somewhat mixed emotions...you're happy for everyone else..of course..but you just want yours to be pipping!! :) It's all good. working 10-12hrs a day helps. Should be picking up some of "stubby's" clutchmates on friday. I'll try to get pics before they get eaten! LOL
