yeah...i was venting as well about some personal issues here at home. I then discovered/remembered that i could delete the post...so i did.. So the apology is for those that read my semi-dramatic post. it's all good now. they build new houses everyday...LOL....i just have to find one i can afford!

ok...i know it's late..but as promised...heres the Candleing pics. 9 of them have a red/pink glow 1 has a white/clear glow and the rest...well..you'll see....remember 14 eggs.. 2 got stuck 1 came out whole....and was put in incubator...it's the one that candled white/clear.

Thanks!! I'm glad this portion is over as well. Now, armed with a BUTT-LOAD of useful info gleened from this years breeding...next year should go a bit smoother. This thread has been great..almost like it took on a life of it's own. i offered her a rat pink...she didnt take it either. i guess I'll give her a few more days...and try again.

Forgot to mention....last night when i candled the eggs...after taking pics i removed the obvious dead eggs...whew!! They Smelled...YUCK!!! Ok...9 good ones....I'm happy with that!!:crazy02:

Good deal! I'm glad it ended well. I love happy endings! In a week or two you should see obvious veins on those amber/pink ones. Good luck!

ok, Just making a small correction. If you add 50 days....it's june 12th. If it goes to 70 days....hatch date will be July 2nd. so anytime between those two dates.

she still hasn't eaten. i've tried Pinkie's,fuzzies, even a "small" mouse. nothing...tried a rat pinkie as well. Nothing...her eyes are clear...but her belly scales are dull....she hasnt shed yet.. gonna try a live fuzzie next.. maybe she just doesnt want to eat?? LOL helped her to a drink of water today..noticed she hasn't left the hide box since the last egg was removed...and when i helped her "find" the water....she practically drank it all. Just playing this one by ear i guess....

Rich, she might not eat when she is blue, and they go blue _right away_ after laying. I generally only get in one small meal, but since yours had the delay- she is probably too blue to eat. I also take away the lay box and put back the big water the day after removing the eggs.

yep, she's got her regular water dish...and lay box has been removed. I think your right...since things were delayed..we may have missed the chance to feed her. no worries...she looks & acts fine otherwise.
