I am so glad that she is doing good and got those eggies out of her. I can tell you I cried after seeing my first girl lay her eggs but she bounced back pretty quickly.

Yeah,
i know the feeling...when she was down to the last 2...and it became obvious they werent coming out on thier own....i picked her up to assess the situation..and her belly(venter,ventral area) was severely sunken in...at that point i did NOT feel good about myself at all.

seriously,
I have no idea what tomorrow or next year brings....it all depends on her. if i can get her weight up and i'm sure she's healthy enough..you just never know. but for now...she has at least 9-10 months off. I'd like a vacation like that.
 
Speaking of work...I gotta hit it! 5:00am aint much fun on a friday!! :) Again, thanks to everyone. you've been the best..and extremely helpful. I think i have 9 good eggs out of 14. thats ok...so long as one of them is a blizzard! :) Good nite all....Kathy, if your out there....before I feed her tomorrow...i'll do a check of her belly for Small eggs. Just to be sure.

I have to say that I am so happy she gets to have a nice rewarding meal tomorrow !! Also I am really enjoying that this thread is going completely from start to finish, and I'm even more excited about the new little pippies growing inside those eggs!! I can't even imagine what it feels like to be a first time breeder.......:noevil::uhoh::dancer::eek1::crazy02::confused::rolleyes::dgrin::crazy01::cheers: and anything else I might've missed ;)
 
Yep..all of that..times 100 :).....and I'm loving every moment of it.
Just did my morning check of controllers & critters...the proud papa..my phantom...Has shed for me. He's looking sexy! :) And mama (zena) Is resting in her hide..coiled and relaxed...Checked the eggs...of the 14 possible..2 are dead(the 2 i removed), and 3 are iffy. So at this point 9 good eggs...3, we'll see.
 
I am so glad that everyone is doing great this morning. Was she your olny breeding this year or do you have to go through this again?
 
she was the only planned breeding. Just wanted to get my feet wet...but next yr. Is another matter.
 
Ok,

offered her 2 Slit fuzzies with nutri-bac sprikled on top. Normally she would come out and flick at me then Stike the prey item..today she didn't even move. I think she's mad at me! I left them on a paper towel off to the frontside of her hide. I'll check in the morning to see if she's eaten.

Also, I would like to apologize to everyone for my previous post....this is no place to be airing out my personal issues at home. It's just that i've become rather comfortable with the people who have post in this thread. again, i'm sorry, and from here on out..strickly professional?? (not a chance! :) ) remember tomorrow we find out which ones are alive and kicking..and which ones have already kicked it.
 
Maybe! I'd try her again tonight with a nice HOT fuzzy, maybe without the Nutribac? Or a rat pink if you have one. Is she blue?

yeah, will try her again tonight..with a fuzzie....I can get rat pinks..no problem. will get a few of those tonight. Umm..She's Not blue yet....but her belly scales are starting to get that dull look to them...
