Happy & pretty relieved!-wanted to share(not corn-related) :)

It's always great when they get going...however, you want to get on track for his age means you'd need to make him fat if you want the "average" weight...whatever that is. There is no on track for their age. Every snake is unique and each one develops at a different rate. My green tree python baby that was difficult to start (and I mean tough) is very small for it's age, but I expect that and won't feed more...just feed what I feed and it will eventually get there. My snakes mature slowly anyway due to a more conservative feeding schedule but they are all generally very active (except the eyelash viper...he just likes to sit there) and moving about all the time.

I understand what you mean,I think my wording was wrong.I definately don't want any fat & lazy snakes, just a good size, not on the thin side anymore, more muscular than fat.he actually comes out often to venture around his viv, seems pretty active :) I think the picture makes him look chunkier than he looks in person actually, maybe the camera adds 10 grams lol ;)

LOL indeed! When they curl and have fat rolls then I think it's time to slow down :) I'm very glad he's eating so well though!

thanks :) yeah,I'm glad he eats so well, especially considering how he started out.I'm still so amazed & proud when I look at him now & shocked by the first pictures-what a difference a year can make!
