well he didnt come out to the food while it was infront of the opening to his hide. so after waiting a bit i decided to move his hide around a little and he poked his head out the back, so im guessing he just didnt notice it was there. i fed him a thawed mouse usually i freshly kill them for him. anyways i put the mouse near his head and after examining it for a few minutes he finally took his time and ate it. so hopefully after this i see more of him.
another question slightly off topic. ive heard this both ways, is handleing him good after hes recently eaten? ive heard it is because hes full and less likely to bite and ive heard not to because eating requires some energy and theyre more likely to bite while tired.
