Ok, I got Billy that small rat two days after we found him. I thought it was too big because he got just the head in his mouth and spit it out and went to his hide. But everyone is saying he should have been able to eat that rat and that he was probably just stressed from the capture and such.. Anyway, I refroze the rat (I hate wasting) and I wonder if now that he is more relaxed, if he could eat it? Or would it be unsanitary for him now?? OR should I still stick to smaller prey? Today is feeding day... Help.
