That is just too cute!Taceas said:Maia, true to her name, loves babies. She was a born momma. If pinkie mice/rats fall on the floor, she'll collect them up and take them back to her bed to bathe/drown. She evem robbed wild rabbit nests to steal the babies. We had like 12 baby rabbits one day all squeaking in her bed.

Here is my girl, Chloe, she is a 3 YO blue merle Shetland Sheepdog. She is very tiny, even for a Sheltie. This has got to be the nicest dog I've ever known in my life! She is so calm and gentle, and smart as can be. When she was a pup I trained her in agility - where the dog goes over the jumps and through tunnels and stuff, I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about. But when she got good enough to start competing I discovered I can't take her more than 20 minutes in the car w/out her uke01: . I tried everything - ginger, dramamine, peppermints - nothing works for this one. But she's always good to go for a walk! LOL And she is a wonderful family dog - we really love this little monster. Oh yeah, and of course she actually isn't perfect - she is a SHAMELESS trash troller and lover of "tasty treats" from the cat box. We don't let her lick us . . . :shrugs:
The canine dose for benedryl is 1mg/pound. A 25 pound dog could get a 25mg tablet 2-3 times a day. This may cause the dog to be quite sleepy, though. Don't try it just before a competition Honestly, I would start with a half dose to see how sleepy it will make her.moonchild said:I know you said you tried a lot of things for her throwing up in cars, but have you tried baby benedryl? I have one that always used to throw up in cars and that worked really good for her. As far as doseage, the vet would know best, you only give Chihuahuas a few drops that's all I know
