So I took Malakai outside today :) It was slightly overcast and warm...he enjoyed himself I think :)

He's so gorgeous!! I love the name as well.. I've been waiting forever to name the perfect animal Mordecai, after the Hawk in Royal Tenenbaums.

I like Malakai a lot too. Very similar. ;) It seems to fit him!
 
I had the pleasure a few weeks back of seeing an adult Carpet Python up close and personal. Gorgeous snake... I was a little too timid to hold him, but being able to see him was certainly a treat. Just Monday I got to see a hatchling... that too was fabulous.

Thanks! They are really neat...and all the adults I got to meet (thanks to Deb and Dave) were all very nice :) I'll have to see if I have some pictures of Wally, her biggest IJ....8ish feet long.
