Music quiz

The Tubes.......Talk to you later.......
I saw these at Knebworth house in the early '80's....With Frank Zappa and peter gabriel on the same bill.....What a band .... This is another band you need to see live....or listen to the live album....LOL

I should wait for confirmation, but I think I'm right......Sorry if I'm not.... So who is this...
It's an easy one for guys of your calibre......LOL

I should wait for confirmation

Nope, we haven't been waiting and we're not that picky. The album was actually called "The Completion Backwards Principle".
Talk to You Later was a big hit on that album, made it into the top ten in the US.

Yours is that little band from Texas:
ZZ Top
Degüello

This band was called sludge rock, but they were really a big influence on grunge. This is their fourth album.

Melvins- Lysol

You meant sludge metal, right?

Yup, you're right, they're called metal, don't know why I wrote that.
Some of their songs reflect this, but some are more like grunge or just plain rock. As a whole they're not easy to pin a genre on. I think they helped the change-over from metal to alt/grunge quite a bit.

Yeah... and thanks. :D

This album is their first, but the lead singer has an album with another lead singer from a very popular band.

Do you know the name of the man on this album cover?
No, I don't think it's that guy next door.
