Official Daytona NRBE 2013 Thread

It was a pleasure meeting some of you at the show. I believe Wayne Hill was able to extend the show for one more year. I am glad everyone had a great time. Looking forward to the show next year.

Orlando

HerpsOfNM, yes it is.

If Fabiola and Paula Dean were corn snakes... That's what their butter offspring would look like. You've got to do a progression thread! I love my butter stripe but I think that butter okeetee is going to be nuts looking.

Oh, and meeting Dr. Orlando- I wish I'd have had longer to talk to him!

And my greatest faux pas of all time. Troy and Jarrett were approached by a young guy, who they greeted as a good friend. "Hi Steve!" I wanted to make conversation, so I asked Steve if he had any cornsnakes. Everyone looked at me with expressions of shock, horror, and general WTF. And then it hit me. It was STEVE ROYLANCE. Oops!

And reconnecting with some guy named VJ Lilja...

DYK Lol that's a big oops lol. Not sure I know what he looks like either though. It was another great show for me. Planned out a great family vacation around the show as well. We did a tour and Angell & Phelps Chocolate factory. Spent 60 bucks on chocolate and fudge. Yum!!! Went to the marine science center in and climbed the light house. Haven't done that in years.

Show pick ups were a baby Brazilian Rainbow Boa, a adult male Caramel Stripe (het Amel) corn, a adult male Coral Snow corn, a 2013 Opal Blood (het Hypo) from Rich Hume and of course the breeding trio (het Sunkissed Anery Stripe) from Jarrett and Troy.

All and all a great weekend. I really want a table next year. I think I will split one with a pet store owner buddy of mine. Even if I make no money I will get in on Friday and I will finally get to say I vendered at Daytona.
