I am not sure how this plays the racist card. Are you saying that everyone that isn't white is racist against having a white president? Because otherwise I don't see how the white's being 50/50 supports your theory.

When I went to bed on election night, Romney had the popular vote by over 1 million. Not sure what he ended up with.

That doesn't change that the current administration received more votes for than against and so represents a majority of Americans. According to the constitution that you consider inviolable and divinely inspired, Barack Obama is the President of the United States.

Anyway, the point being, it's not just butt hurt republicans. MANY democrats voted for Romney.

My theory is that race was a significant issue in this election. The election results bear that out.

Minorities voted heavily Democrat. Whites (Who did not split, but went approx 60/40) went Republican.

And many former Republicans describe themselves as 'independent' while still voting Republican.

Party affiliation is pretty malleable.

'The way it should be' part of this country being a democracy is we get to vote the way we choose. We are not forced to vote along party lines. Do you have statistic to go along with your statement of 'not many democrats'.
My .02 no matter who won the election we are headed up a mountain without supplies.

Ok but by that logic you are calling everyone racist because a majority of other nationalities voted democrat. If whites are racist because of a 60/40 split then the colored people must really be racist because of their 90/10 split. And most of the reason for the 90/10 split was because of Obama's views on immigration it had nothing to do with the color of his skin.

Um, THINKING people look at BOTH candadates and where they stand before voting. Some republicans voted Obama, some democrats voted Romney. To pick a side and blindly vote that way without looking at the issues is something that people incapable of thinking do.

By your own numbers, whites voted 60% for the white guy and blacks voted what, 98% for the black guy? Not much wiggle room to call white voters racist there. I have no dog in this fight, both major candidates were far too willing to murder, as well as take money from the middle class and give it to the very rich to get my vote.

Wow! I guess I am racist because I voted for the white guy. Man, I didn't even see race as part of the issue when voting. I let their records stand for them.

I think it is funny how people keep pulling race as a factor. I am sorry, Obama is a piss poor president who does not support education, military, health care and many others. Not saying Romney would of done a better job. But lets get real on this whole thing.

I'm aware. And I know that some people will have a brief moment of ragequit and say they're going to do something (like secede/leave the country) that they would never actually do.

I guess the larger question is: Where do you go if you really don't like the way things went this time? What country in the world is doing it "right"?

And if there isn't one (as it doesn't seem there is), why would people who are this upset not want to try to stay and work toward changing things in the "right" direction, rather than packing up their toys and stomping off?

You hate all republicans and blindly vote for democrats, are you aware that there are conservative democrats and liberal republicans and moderates of both parties? Do you know what a "Libertarian" is?

There are dem. that will vote straight down the line Dem. no matter who is running for what, same goes for the other side.

My sister always votes dem. Does that mean she voted for Obama because he is black. Naah, she voted for him because of her party.

And really, if I am a racist then my cat cheetah is the Queen of Sheba.
