Release or Euthanize Cornsnakes? What's your opinion?

Rotach, this is not an attack but genuine questions...

1- Does the fact EVERYONE here has a different opinion than yours make you think that maybe your opinion is morally incorrect?

2- If you can't euthanize a snake by freezing it, would you consider taking it somewhere to be euthanized instead of releasing it in the wild?
 
Justine, the methods I cited earlier in the post were for the recommended methods for euthanasia by species. I believe that this is the sort of guideline used by vet offices, as those here who have taken them in have professed to be horrified that they wanted to do a heart stick to put them down.

At least if I remember correctly.

Look at my post, see that blue button on the bottom right, that says "QUOTE". If you press it, you can quote people, then they will have a clue what you are talking about.

I'm not unhappy OR bitter, but when an animal I love is clearly suffering and won't ever get better, I do whatever it takes to make the suffering stop.
Monsters do otherwise....
 
I think the best thing to do right now is just to ignore Rotach. He obviously did NOT heed what the moderators told him and isn't going to change his mind. Right now we're just beating a dead horse with this topic.

We need to just ignore it and him. All we're doing is fueling him to continue on with his ways... calling names, etc. I'm not perfect, I do it too, but when the Mods come in and say "enough!" then I back off as does everyone else.

Please, someone with the ability, lock this thread! :shrugs:

it's unnatural for the snake to be in a tank in your house to begin with, it's innatural for you to put food in front of it's face and to be able to drink your tap water. And it's def unnatural for you to assist in it's death. Your not the one who decides that, NATURE is! that's my foundation here, agree to disagree! I have! You can't! It's matter of opinion, no one here is right or wrong despite what "morally" or "ethically" words you toss in here! OPINION!!!

I thought I'd never hear from you again, but here you are antagonizing members again. If you can't participate in a non-inflammatory manner, then I'll just give you a nice, long suspension. It's up to you. I'm sick of the drama around here.
 
what the moderator told me was not to use curse words, even if they have #@%$ in them. I have done so. Thanks Em, if you don' like this debate then don't participate in it.

This isn't a debate anymore... It's a rehash of what WAS a debate. Now it's just a mess.

And everyone else was going to let this debate die... twice, and you came back in and refueled the fire. Over and over again.

If snake keeping is so unnatural, why do you do it?? You're contradicting yourself.
