Haha! Im not too proud ;-) Besides my son's birthday is today and I just paid close to 200.00$ for a darn chuck e. cheese party on Saturday!

I am guessing you don't have kids. I can live without the net for 4 days to make my 8 yr olds birthday is super fun for him. And your wrong....my kids come before internet. Why are there so many corn balls on this site?? I swear!
 
Aw, sad to see you go! But at least it's not for long. I'm sure your son will be thrilled to have such an awesome birthday! I remember, long ago, a friend and I wanted some Chuck E. Cheese pizza, but they wouldn't allow you in if you were under the age of 18 and without a parent/guardian. Being the ruffians we were, we lied and pointed to a man going into the bathroom, saying that he was our dad (my friend was African American, mind you!) and we were let through! Hah! Good times...good times...

Hsahahah! That is hilarious....I like the cheap beer (lol) Thanks for being nice! I will try to post some pics of the big adventure! I know all these snake friends are dying to see chuck e. cheese pics! lol

Says the one who always posts about his high end Boas :shrugs:!

One thing I've learned in life, great mother's sacrifice their personal comforts to make their children happy, so I applaud you Yellowbelly. Also, a child without a birthday party is most likely a cranky one... well worth $200 and no internet for a little peace of mind :)!

If I were in her position, I sure wouldn't be on here being such a dang good sport with some of you mean/goofy people.

That was the big reason we went all out....The great kid deserves it. He lost everything on Oct. 8th.

You're welcome, Tara. I am lucky and have never had to deal with the horror of losing everything in a fire.
I'm sure that was extremely traumatic for a 7 year old.
 
omg it was awful! My husband is now on anxiety medication. There were 24 fire fighters,and air unit and 2 ambulances. The city of Reno rocked and we got so many loving donations. They said if it would have gone 10 mins longer we wouldn't have made it. It was caused by an improperly installed wood stove. Also, we are renters...yes, we are sueing :)
